Orange wine made from a blend of Welschriesling (50%) and Hárslevelű (Lipovina) (50%).
De-stemmed grapes were loaded to 1000L Georgian amphorae, where they fermented and then aged on skins for 12 months. The free-running wine was taken from the amphorae and used in another cuveé and the skins with yeasts were pressed. The resulting wine was loaded to small old oak barrels of 140L, where it continued to mature under flor. Wine is vegan.
An opulent orange wine with a big body and great supporting acidity.
Delicious with matured cheeses.
