Gewürztraminer grapes were hand harvested and whole bunches were foot-stomped in wooden tub, where the mass stayed for another 3 months. After gentle pressing in basket press the wine stayed 11 months in glass 50L demijohn. Wine was then moved to a new small acacia barrel, from where it was bottled after a month with no added sulphites. Wine is vegan.
Only 60 bottles made.
Expressive orange wine with nose of spicy notes and stone fruits, taste of white peaches supported with great acidity and no tannins.
Pairing with cold cuts and hard cheeses.
Alcohol: 11.0% abv. Sulphites (total): 15 mg/L
