A single-varietal Syrah, Ananda is an autumn treasure — deep ruby in the glass, with forest floor aromas leading into vibrant red fruit of strawberry, cherry and plums. Subtle tannins provide a refreshing, clean finish.
Cédric Mouton came to wine via Qigong, and that internal discipline runs through everything he makes. No lab yeasts, no filtering, no stabilising, and no added sulphur unless absolutely necessary — natural winemaking with a considered internal logic rather than performance. From the 2022 vintage, Cédric introduced Georgian amphora vats to deepen the wine's connection to the earth — and in Ananda, that connection is tangible.
His estate in the Gorges du Gouleyrous sits on clay-limestone and shale soils, shaped by fast-moving rivers, mountain winds, and the kind of wild, rugged terrain that makes the Pyrenean foothills feel like another world entirely.
