Hand harvested grapes of Blaufränkisch have been de-stemmed and crushed. After a 1-3 days maceration, wine spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tank, in which continued the maturation for a period of 12 months on fine lees.
Wine is unfined, unfiltered with 30 ppm of sulphur added at bottling. Wine is vegan.
This dark rose has wonderful nose of darker berries with nice presence of terroir that is showing in taste as well. Notes of cherries mixed with smoky hints. All nicely floating on generous acdity.
Pairing with a roast beef. Mediterranean dishes of all sorts – fish soup, mezze starters, grilled prawns, meat and veg skewers, raw tuna and smoked fish.
Alcohol: 12.5% vol. Sulphites added: 30 ppm.
