Single varietal Blaufränkisch from VOC Modré Hory - Blue Hills.
Grapes are from single vineyard called Lizniperky within VOC Modré Hory.
The grapes for the production came from an excellent vineyard route, which was popular already in the 16th century. The long rows leading down south to the town of Velké Pavlovice gave rise to excellently ripe grapes. The wine matured in two 600-liter barrels, which were made from oak trees grown in Slavonia. The aroma features dark cherry and hints of ripe plums. The taste is distinctly sour cherry, vanilla and liquorice.
