Single varietal Blaufränkisch from VOC Modré Hory - Blue Hills.
The final blend is composed from wine which matured for 20 months in one large oak barrel made of Hungarian oak and thirteen smaller ones made of Slavonian and French oak. The aroma reveals notes of dark cherries, cloves, and black currant. The taste is medium-full, with a strong hint of blueberries, cloves, but especially cherry pits, which is the true character of Frankovka from the Blue Mountains.
