Fresh and expressive Pinot Blanc – Impression is a wine inspired by the impressionist image, capturing a rich tapestry of flavours in every glass. Golden straw in colour. The aroma is expressive yet refined, led by buttery pear and white flowers, with a delicate whisper of white pepper in the background. The body is firm and elegant, with a smooth texture carried by fresh, harmonious acids. The aftertaste is long, mineral, and finishes with a subtle, fine breadiness. Simply an impressionist painter with a brush dipped in flavour.
The grapes were harvested by hand in early September into small 18–20 kg crates to keep them as intact as possible. After gentle destemming and crushing, they macerated on skins for 7 days in open-top vats. The must moved into barrels while still fermenting, maturing for 11 months — part in 300 l French barrels of oak and acacia wood, part in 220 l French oak barrels. The wine was not clarified; noble sediment is a natural part of this wine.
Still white wine. Wine is not clarified.
